Light roast, natural process. This coffee packs about as much fruity flavor as possible without being totally one-noted. Coffees from the Shantawene Village, in the Bombe Mountains of Ethiopia, tend to be complex and sweet. This is partly due to the slow ripening process of coffee grown at such high altitudes - 2000 to 2100 meters above sea level. We get perfumey florals, rustic fruits, and a punchy acidity that cuts through the mix. Shantawene is one of our favorites, and sure to be one of yours too!

12oz - 340g

Note: This coffee is whole-bean. We feel this is the best option to preserve freshness, flavor, and aroma. If you need your coffee ground, please choose a grind level option and we'll be happy to grind it accordingly.

Aromas of blueberry granola gives way to flavors of strawberry preserves, rustic natural wine, and fresh berries. A sweet and malic stone fruit acidity cuts through nicely and leaves a lasting finish.
