Medium roast, Kula washed process.  Grown in the volcanic soils of Wahgi Valley, Western Highlands, this peaberry from Bunum Wo Estate is carefully grown and rigorously sorted in order to produce a crowd pleasing coffee that's sweet and complex.  The Kula processing method combines raised coffee beds with two rounds of color sorting and two rounds of hand sorting that yields a spectacularly clean cup.

Bunum Wo is imported through Benchmark Coffee Traders.  We love working with Benchmark because of the amount of support they provide to their surrounding communities in Papua New Guinea.  In addition to paying farms directly, they offer support for various social programs that are carried out at the estate.  These include free housing for workers, free elementary schools, free healthcare, AIDS education and testing, plus they're a major economic contributor locally and work with roasters abroad to provide clean water access.

12oz

Note:  This coffee is whole-bean.  We feel this is the best option to preserve freshness, flavor, and aroma.  If you need your coffee ground, please choose a grind level option and we'll be happy to grind it accordingly.
