Light roast Nicaraguan coffee, washed process.  Produced by Nicolas and Angela at their farm, El Porvenir, in Jinotega.   El Porvenir is a quality-focused farm and we couldn't be more happy with this light, clean microlot which is comprised of 100% Red Catuai (varietal).
 
This coffee was proudly sourced through Gold Mountain Coffee Growers.  Gold Mountain is a direct trade social enterprise that's helping to connect farmers with roasters while providing numerous benefits to the surrounding communities.  They provide education assistance, financing, technical assistance and even bought their own rainforest just to protect it.
 
Note:  This coffee is whole-bean.  We feel this is the best option to preserve freshness, flavor, and aroma.  If you need your coffee ground, please choose a grind level option and we'll be happy to grind it accordingly.
