Light roast Guatemalan coffee, washed process.  This coffee comes from a microlot grown in the Huehuetenango region by members of UPC, a co-op of about 160 members - half of whom are women.  Pacamara is an interesting hybrid of the Pacas and Maragogype varietals.  The result is an extremely large bean with a light body and tons of inherent sweetness.

This coffee was sourced via direct trade through our partners at De La Gente.  De La Gente works with farmers to produce better and more traceable coffee.  Their work provides for greater opportunities for education, equipment and materials, increased income, community involvement and sustainability.

Note:  This coffee is whole-bean.  We feel this is the best option to preserve freshness, flavor, and aroma.  If you need your coffee ground, please choose a grind level option and we'll be happy to grind it accordingly.
