This organic, light roast, natural processed Ethiopian comes from a group of producers in the southern Ethiopian region of Sidama. Named "Dur Feres", or "Wild Horse" in Amharic, this coffee is a blended community lot created in order to promote economic stability among farmers of the region. Rather than importing only top lots, our partners with Catalyst Trade have worked to buy a larger selection of coffees from a given harvest, thereby providing greater income potential for the producers and a consistent flavor profile for roasters like us.
Note: This coffee is whole-bean. We feel this is the best option to preserve freshness, flavor, and aroma. If you need your coffee ground, please leave a note on your order or drop us an email telling us how you brew your coffee (I.E. drip, espresso, french press, etc.) so we can grind it accordingly.
