Light-medium roast Colombian coffee, aerobic washed process.  For all the attention that alternative processing methods have been receiving lately, we're still seeing super exciting new varietals coming out on a regular basis.  A fairly new one is the pink bourbon, a naturally occuring hybrid between yellow bourbon and red bourbon.  In terms of flavors, pink bourbon seems to carry the best of both parent varietals, plus a little something extra in the way of sweetness and a note that can only be described as umami.
Grown by Gentil Cabezas in Huila, this coffee was sourced via direct trade through Cofinet in Colombia.  Cofinet is a family run business, started in order to encourage sustainable and ethical relationships between coffee growers at origin and roasters around the world.
