Light roast, washed process. This microlot comes from the northern province of Kayanza in the tiny country of Burundi. Here, the farms are very small and the freshly picked cherries are brought to the local washing stations for processing (this coffee comes from Kiririma Washing Station). The processing methods here are very similar to the meticulous and quality driven sorting, washing, and drying done with Kenyan coffees. Expect a complex, yet decadently drinkable cup with loads of sugary sweetness and juicy acidity.

Note: This coffee is whole-bean. We feel this is the best option to preserve freshness, flavor, and aroma. If you need your coffee ground, please choose a grind level option and we'll be happy to grind it accordingly.
Burundi - Kayanza Kiririma
Sweet baking spice and jasmine in the aroma. Rich brown sugar sweetness and a syrupy body, offset by huge tangy acidity reminscent of white grape and ruby-red grapefruit juices, especially as the cup cools.
