Light roast, natural process.  This microlot comes from the north-central province of Ngozi in the tiny country of Burundi.  Gihere Central Washing station receives coffee from over 1600 small-holder producers in the Ngozi region of Burundi.  The average farmer in this region only has approximately 250 trees, which is extremely small.  However, due to the longevity of the wash station, which was established in 1984, many small-holder farmers have gained access to capital investments, education, and infrastructure to produce exceptional coffees and improve their livelihoods.  The processing methods here are very similar to the meticulous and quality driven sorting, washing, and drying done with Kenyan coffees.  Expect a complex, yet decadently drinkable cup with loads of sugary sweetness and juicy acidity.  For being a natural-processed coffee, Gihere presents an extremely clean cup.

12oz - 340g

Note:  This coffee is whole-bean.  We feel this is the best option to preserve freshness, flavor, and aroma.  If you need your coffee ground, please choose a grind level option and we'll be happy to grind it accordingly.
